Quantum, Cube-shaped, and Cameras

Barry and I did some museum-ing lately. Here is his brain learning about quantum mechanics:
We went to another special exhibit.
Several of our questions were answered.
Yup, a whole educational exhibit on poo!
In the cheeky fart chamber, you press the butts to make a sound, while learning key fart facts.
Singapore's toilet history is rich and speedy, but they didn't have mention the night soils.

We also went to the Camera museum, which is a little dryer.
There are a lot of cameras, about which I learnt some things, fleetingly.
In completely unrelated news, Santa had a bit of a tough year this year on Orchard Rd. I think he has a back injury due to heavy snow.
Potentially this cabbie did too - with the 5 flavours of Absolut displayed on the dash.
Barry has been practicing his magic card tricks, and is seen here with an enraptured audience.
He was also serenaded with a sax, and failed not to look awkward.

Mushrooms, Embedded Buddhas, and Conical Food Stands

Barbara and Gilles visited, and it rained so much that mushrooms showed up everywhere!
We got educated at the fabulous multimedia sensory Singapore Bicentennial experience, where Barbara got a crush on Sir Stanford Raffles (you can call him Bingley, if you're close).
We learnt about traditional agriculture too!
We also visited the model of Singapore. Here's our condo, including pools to scale.
Barbara showed appropriate reverence for the Big Buddha and his tiger guard.
Even as we go to go into his butt, where there is a secret reclining Buddha that you're not allowed to photograph.

I hung out with the "Shoplifting is a Crime" guy and his extra-smooth skin.
And we checked out some Engrish shirts.
Then it was time to eat.

Here, Gilles shows the correct way to food selfie.
There was a touch of fire, into which Barry and Barbara leaned.
And we finished it off with some conical food stands.

Holiday Gift Ideas for Emotional and Physical Wellbeing

Need holiday present ideas? Well, let me introduce you to...
The "Boyfriend pillow"! Need snuggles? The appearance of firm muscles? Available in firm and softer abs. I thought this was Asian, but it seems to be an Australian invention, so I hope you don't all have these already.

Also avialable in lady butt. Unless you're into other things.
Don't worry, the "celebrity model" cockroach pillow comes in 3 suprisingly huge sizes.
Personally, I'm more into food. They have shrimp and squid as well.
I think Barry would like to snuggle up with a durian.
If you're looking for something more practical, you can keep your brushes in this pita (incorrectly labeled as a burrito and a baked cake).
Eating too many burritos? Apparently this leg snapper flapper can help!
Looking for a night time ghost massage to perk up your chin?
The idea is that you can't be beautiful unless your chin is a V shape, and tying it up can achieve this. Luckily this option has special ear holes.
You can apparently use V Shape face sticker tape for this too! Just tuck your skin into your ears! I wonder what people think when they see it.
Here's a new way to magically brush dye into your wig, electrically.
My personal fave is the sleeping waist pad, because I often don't feel refresh when waking up.
And then of course, there's always trusty whitening cream, now available for knees!

Les Anglo-saxons ont parfois du mal à prononcer l'anglais

We went to the land of the trick-eye. (Also, Barry's love of donkeys may be fading, now that he's seen them up close).
In this land, the doors are short.
There is delicious food.
And creepy child hands are used as door knockers.
It's near the end of Ball Game Street.
The wildlife is rampant.
The botanicals, creepy as usual.
But we learnt what you can do with the botanicals: here is the secret recipe!
It turns out, if you accidentally let your wine fester in the sun in crappy old barrels, all is not lost!
With the right bright shiny vat, vermouth can be made!
We like vermouth.
We even like it enough for a 3-person photogenic picture!
Finally, in this land they think that "Anglo-saxons" use tongue twisters to help us to practice pronouncing English better.
