Plants, Abs, Rum and Bony: The lockdown hobbies

Well, my last post was optimistic, as Singapore has now gone from 1000 cases April 1 to 6000 today. The problem is the virus got into our migrant worker dormitories, where thousands of people live in close proximity. Like a cruise ship, but with bunk beds, shared washrooms and 300,000 people. So this situation is much more worrisome, now.
There is also something truly messed up with the world's supply chain, when I can order hundreds of masks online, including 3M N95s, yet there are "shortages" in the west. How can this be?
So nowadays, we stay indoors and watch my tomato plants grow. 6 weeks and zero tomatoes so far. Boring hobby.
There's nothing to complain about if you're healthy. We're having fun experimeting with hobbies. This one was short-lived.
Barry's been finding creative ways to exercise. This is the mop bucket ab roller. The water jug weights are in the background.
I've been going for brisk masked walks, in accordance with the rules. Here, I'm in front of the old airport, which is only slightly more deserted than Changi airport. In the top picture, you can see how wet the mask gets.
Barry has been picking up the occasional takeout (mask not shown). Makes it feel like date night, AND free workout.
We've found some great new hobbies too. Here, we're doing rum tasting with our favourite expert mixologist! Key learning: dosage makes it sweeter, and sounds cool to say as a French word.
And we've always been into our balcony view, so Barry had an idea.
We got an authentic S Bony brand telescope from Chinalotsastuff.com, (which works again), to check if those in our neighbourhood are complying with social distancing and mask rules.
Yes, and um nyo?
