Virtual Life

We've been adapting well to our virtual life.
We've been joining and hosting virtual Cocktail Learning and Appreciation Nights. Will shook so hard that his shaker turned into a mass of molten metal!
I've upgraded the tinctures used in our bar.
There's been a lot of cooking. Here, my hipster vegan cultured cashew cheeze gets its brine-based lacto-ferment puff on.
Being home more, we discovered that our oven has an incredibly hot pizza setting. Much crisp-crust joy ensued.
Barry's been baking delicious bagels.
Among many other things called dinner, I made "Screw-it, we had 1000 new cases today" fudge.
We have also been dining out, virtually. Takeout and "plate" your own meal, and break the routine!
Throughout all of this, Barry has remained as stylish as ever, with his pandemic haircut.
Laura does the top, Barry and clippers do the side.

Fakation Part 2

After our flight, we found ourselves in a wondrous and mysterious land. Here, plants grow on top of the trees! Only once they get too heavy do they fall and grow from the ground, which I saw here for the first time.
Our hotel's pool is closed, but it still looks pretty.
So we were upgraded to a suite with sunset views.
I admired the local wildlife.
We dressed according to local customs (and regulations); I managed an uncharacteristically sporty look.

I got a double mask, so it was my lucky day!
In this land, the local custom is to exercise outside alone, which I did, even in the rain.
There are many sights within walking distance.
The Marina Bay Sands buildings are lit up to say SG heart, but you can only see the heart and the under-flag here.
This country has many beautiful structures of light.
You can see special, secret Gardens by the Bay sculptures stored in the park where I walk briskly.
Brisk walking does not always lead to the best photo quality of these mysterious delights.

We visited the land of puzzles. This one was great!
This one, however, might have been overly ambitious...
It was 999 pieces!
Tangrams are also surprisingly fun. Overall, it was a great fakation!

Fakation Part 1: The Flight

Seems like it's time for a fakation! I took a virtual flight, and this was my flight attendant!
Inflate the life vest by pulling on the red socks. If it doesn't inflate completely, blow into the tubes. Your life vest comes equipped with a whistle and a light!
If there should be a sudden decrease in air pressure, oxygen masks will fall automatically. My flight attendant showed how to pull the tabs.
And of course, where the exits are located.
I had a quick nap during the safety briefing, because I was jetlagged.
I woke up in time for the Singapore Airlines satay, of course!
It was delicious!
Barry was stuck back in economy class, but I let him borrow my seat temporarily. Can't wait for my fakation!
