The Beverages of Singapore

While wine in Singapore is not cheap, we drink it anyway due to its important health benefits. In addition, there are novel Chinese (ginseng wine, ginger rice wine, harsher concoctions), Japanese (the world of sake), Korean (herbal liqueurs, soju) and Singapore (tiger beer) alcoholic alternatives, as shown. The favourite is umeshu, which is a plum sake reminiscent of late harvest wine.
