Guess who visited in December! Barbara and I had a surprisingly good picture at the massage place.Naturally, we went to the house inside a tree, which is this big.
Spouses not shown because our pictures were better.
Speaking of trees, we had a stoppover at the Frankfurt Christmas market, since Gluwein helps with jetlag.
People say Frankfurt is not pretty. This is confusing.
I learnt about green sauce, which you can put on several delicious things, and I caught up on some excellent potato foods.
Then we went to Canada, where we shifted to flour-foods, including traditional Christmas pasta, which Barry made with my mom.
It was quite nice on this sunny day, with Parliament in the background.
Then, I suddenly got mild covid! This was my darkest line.
I infected no relatives, and spent my isolation in the beautiful downtown of Kinsgston. From the window, we could see both sunrise and sunset!
And we could see the lake ice warriors. These are ordinary light poles with unusual icicle formations due to waves, freezing, and snowstorms. My non-polar friends thought they were art.
I was quickly cured, so we resumed our travels. Our long flight mask solutions vary. Barry has twist-tie hooks in his trashy cap, to which he hooks his mask to alleviate ear pressure.
I prefer a mask hijab strap, which is a strap with a bunch of hooks, allowing you to extend your mask over your hijab or, in my case, your neck.
On the way home, we had a brief stoppover in Queens, NY, where our friend told us about the muppet museum.
We saw real fraggles! So exciting!
And Doozers, which are my favourite! They were larger than I thought, and clad in a surprisingly sexy manner. Doozers are the best.
These guys would, I'm sure, agree.
