Religious Nooks and Crannies

I'm finally getting my butt around to posting wall butts.
And the more devoted worshippers.
In biblical times, it seems that people were much shorter. Something to picture, next time you're engaging in your favourite religious activities.
We did notice quite a bit of religion in Jerusalem.
Above two yellow domes. Below, a yellow dome and a silver dome.
This was as close as we could get to the Dome of the Rock, where you can see the mosaics.
This is the Shtreimel, which, I found out, can be made in Canada out of Candian marten tails. Martens are the animals which, when you hit them with your car, you exclaim "What on earth was that animal!?". Trivia for your next social gathering.
Pretty much everything in Jerusalem was religious. Here's Barry, contemplating his tattoo options.
The fan was even Lord-branded.
After leaving, I started to see more meaning in things. For example, when you feel disconnected, use your right-angled hand to throw the rainbows upward.
And ponder, if you will, the shape of the stop-sign hands in Israel in the rain. That's a disjointed thumb!

Israeli fruits, falafels and more

If you need just a bit of spices then you have come to the wrong place.
Here, there is lots to be had, but mind the hand prints.
Why yes, I would like some fresh dates.
And a giant bagel, sold here. Just as good as Montreal!
Still hungry, but found falafel just in time!
Why yes, I think we've found Engrish! Would you like Olven Kain bras, or True Oddness Good ? baby underwear? Just like it says: "A lot of why".
Engrish also available in Baby 25 Pudding.
If you're looking for something more disturbing, how about this toy gun for small girls.
Which you can't bring here, as Barry demonstrates.
