Yatai are intimidating food carts where you enter through curtains to eat with locals. Barry made me go there twice.

Due to karma, Barry had to eat a whole dried salted fish there. Thank you, goddess of stone sculpture with your numerous assistants.

Other food choices included an unexpected Canadian BBQ restaurant.

Look, Canadian hamburgers, complete with lotus root and pumpkin chips!

I think we liked Japanese BBQ better.

The dimensional drink (sake?) menu did not enlighten us, so we made the wrong selection.

And finally, we went to a baseball game, where Barry got cheering sticks with stickers! You can see him attempting the cheers
here.

This proves that balloons are also for adults.
