Shinjuku, Godzilla and Statistics!

Shinjuku's "East Exit Cat" says hello, and is cheaper than a movie. She is near Godzilla, shown here.
Did you know that Godzilla was 70? Scary! Barry bought a T-shirt about that.
We found some new sites to see in Tokyo. First, we went to the statistics museum.
At first they thought we were in the wrong place, but we wanted to see this statistic machines.
Look: Statisticians!
Census marketing!
Population curves are quite interesting, and we played with the interactive display.
We followed this with the origami museum.
It was not as much fun as statistics.
After that, we had some okonomiyaki. This picture looks sideways no matter which way I rotate it.
And we made our own takoyaki.
Great spherification.
There is lots to do in Tokyo, but we didn't see the horsemen.
There are always fun things to try.
And a lot of things that we didn't try.

We went to the plastic food stores to see what was new in plastic food.
And we saw Barry's dream meal.

Catching up with Engrish

Hello from the Be Rich Food Agency. I've been blogtardy due to catwalking!
Let's make up for it with some Engrish! Is the Toothless monster Engrish? Who knows!
Optional Restaurat is only open on choosedays.
There, you can eat garlic nine belly fish!
After that, you may need a nap, but you should be honest about that.
I was a foreigner, so I had to use the phoney line.
Luckily, I was not one of the heavyweight speakers!
Gift bags are consistently one of the best sources of Engrish. This one says: Eat delicious sweets and spend pleasant time. The time well carry a happy.
They're often oddly specific and kinda intense.
When you're happy, dress up pretty like and go to town!
If they try to convince you with a plastic gift bag, maybe do not stay.
Stalker gift bag with both Engrish and Flench.
here is an unexpected find, about a Shima Enaga, which is the super cute long-tailed bushtit, that I now want to see!
I bought these socks to get the fabulous along with the same old.
Sake is often a winner, but it's rarely lemon.
Be careful not to overdo it with chocolate mint ice cream.
Finally, this shirt says: Dold fast to dreams for whn dreams go lifeis a barrenf ield frozen onlywith snow. Dold fast to dreams for if oreams die life is a broken-winged biro than can never fly. Turns out this is a mashup of a Langston Hughes poem.
